Still learning html? This will help and put away your wallet.
Just a quick post about this VERY useful tool that someone told me about a few weeks ago and I have been using it ever since.
I am new to html but I am getting there, I now normally know when I have made a mistake and how to put it right (but please realise, I don’t do anything complicated YET! but watch out world when I’ve done with my lurnin I will go nuts with my new found knowledge - that will be about the time of our grandchildrens grandchildren by the way).
Anyway, this is the link to the HTML School:
You will see lots of useful headings on the left hand side but what I really love about this is for instance, on the page you should land on, “HTML Links” if you click on the red underlined title of ‘create hyperlinks’ you then get a new page come up which is split screen.. it shows some examples with the html of the example on the left screen and the actual thing you get on the right hand side.
All I do with this is, I go to a free space on the left, I put in what I think the code needs to be for what I want (using their example to work from) I then click the “Edit the text and click me” button at the top and voila, my project appears also on the right hand side.. so I can check what I get with the html still visible on the left, I can see what is wrong then and keep playing with the code on the left and clicking that old button until I get it right.. easy peasy, all I do then is just copy the code on the left and go place it wherever I need it.
You will see from the index on the left that html school covers a ton of things, all using this nifty Editor and I have found I have learnt a lot already and do not always need this tool now BUT when I go getting all too big for my boots and something won’t load properly or whatever, then I do find myself back there, putting in the code and low and behold, it is then obvious what the tiny little mistake is that I made.
I hope this helps some of you guys out there too.

Glad you liked the links, it is such a useful place and once you start doing even a little of this html stuff yourself you get a great sense of achievement.
Sure we can remain friends, you know where to find me if you need help with something.
I hope sometime this week to have a contact form placed directly in the blog so people can sign-up for updates from this blog via a link email sent to their email account, I want to give a gift away with the sign-up so ~I am just working that all out, so keep an eye on that, until then though you can contact me via the contact page.
So where do you live now? I have to say I love living in Wales too, I moved here 7 years ago from England and it was the best move I ever made.
Take care and keep in touch

Peter, I forgot to say, if you have not already done so then click on the “Join My Community” Banner on any of the posting pages, green banner, that way you can join that community and get updates too and also send me messages, that is the “MyBlogLog” community which if your going to have a blog is a must have, it is free and easy to set up.
