Is this blog of yours TE or is it set up with a click bank? I am interested in setting up my blogs for the perpose of banner ad’s and TE. How difficult is it to set this up?

    susanneuk Says:

    Hi Tim,

My blog is set up for whatever I want to do with it, I will advertise and talk about TE’s yes, and other things to help advertise or perhaps programs that can earn you money and I will also talk about personal things. It is not difficult to do as long as you get the free wordpress from wordpress.org and not wordpress.com.. you will need to host your own wordpress.org blog though but you can find that very cheaply.. the reason for that is you control what advertising goes on with your blog and you can use it for advertising yourself whereas the blogs from wordpress.com do not allow them to be used as business blogs.. does that answer your question, if not, please let me know.

    Thanks, Sue

    Gerry Says:

I signed up with MobilleCash Affiliate Programme.

Keeping a marriage intact nowadays appears to be difficult. I’m quite lucky for having the same spouse for the last 41 years, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren. However, one daughter is a single parent.

To your continued success and prosperity.

    Gerry

P.S. You and I are friends at Adlandpro.

    Peter Simmons Says:

    Hi Su

As you’re almost local - I’m in Leominster - and having seen you around on blog catalog as well as V2P, I wanted to get an objective opinion on what’s happening there. I haven’t spent a lot of time on the forum as I have a full time business to run, but each time I pop back to see what’s happening, it seems like it’s the same old story; trust us, it’s all going to start happening soon. But is it?
I assume as you’re a mod you get special treatment and some of the few paying ads, but my sites just play the same netaudioads one which is getting irritating, and the pathetic total of 16 cents I once had has disappeared and my total is now $0.
I have no idea if this is harming my return visitors, but I suspect they are as irritated as I am with the same ad playing, so I’m considering removing the code and calling it a day.
The way I see it, the drive to get publishers was more successful than imagined, the drive to get ads failed, and that has meant stalemate, with increasingly lame excuses driving people away.
A couple of months ago I posted on the forum that I would come back in a month to see if anything had changed, and you suggested I make it a week! But now months down the line there’s still nothing happening, and the forum seems to have dwindled to sniping comments about a troll and his wife and a hairlip.
Please, if you know the score, fill me in on the possibility that this opportunity will one day materialise and it really is worth it having this blatant advertisement play repeatedly [can’t they produce several and cycle them ffs?].
I’m concerned also by talk of Larry having been bancrupt a number of times which doesn’t instill confidence. But your presence has always seemed very straightforward and upfront, so I thought I’d ask for a heads up as my email to Larry hasn’t had an answer and I can’t seem to log into the forum now, it refuses my email address even though it’s the one I’ve got emails from V2P at.
    Peter

    susanneuk Says:

    Hi Peter,

Well thanks for coming and asking, always best to ask I say.

I won’t go into too much detail here as this is my “contact page” - I do wonder why you didn’t use the email address above to ask?

Anyway, I just want to address one of your comments first, regarding being a moderator and that therefore I get perks of extra traffic, I don’t, I have made so far 16c, I believe that the other two mods also have low earnings. We do just volunteer our time on the forum and I guess perhaps the only perk we get is that we can get in touch with Larry et al a bit faster than you can, however, that is only because we have a “Moderator only” area on the forum to help us all with day to day moderation. Also, we mods also have our own businesses to run as do most of the members who do frequent the forum.

From what you say, about repeated ads playing it sounds to me like your code may not now be up to date, as you are having problems accessing the forum, I will look into that, if I can’t get that sorted then you can post a link here for me and I will get it checked over for you.

The code is a wee bit confusing and it could be you have the demoads and/or “no3min” rule incorrectly marked which would give you lots of annoying demo ads.

If that is sorted out then you will find it won’t be annoying for your visitors.

You are right in one thing you say, the drive to get publishers and the amount that joined did completely surprise NAA. However, what a lot of people seem to miss is that along with this still being in Beta it could also not be FULLY tested UNTIL there were publishers filling the system, NAA have said, they underestimated the ammount of publishers and therefore the time it would then take to see what bugs there would be in the new technology, again, they could not see that UNTIL there were enough publishers running the code. Hackers could not be dealt with until there were publishers either.

So yep, this is new, they have had their fair share of bugs which you do expect in beta BUT they also take on board what the publishers report and suggest and have implemented many ideas from the publishers as this whole new technology is fine tuned.

Yep we are now approaching that stage.

Practically everyone in the network gets low amounts of traffic and the reason for that is that it would be extremely stupid for them to have ramped up too quickly, using the advertisers they have waiting and then the whole system went wrong because of the bugs wasting the advertisers money, so, they have stuck by their guns and have released just enough adlets in each phase to test the system and fix reported bugs.

That process has taken way longer than I think anyone anticipated but for me and many others, I would still rather keep waiting and getting on with my own business and let them get it as damn near perfect as possible BEFORE they ramp up and end up with egg on their and our faces. It does not cost me anything to be involved and if in the end this really does fall on it’s behind, then I take the code off and move on.

The shear amount of publishers and new data also overwhelmed BPA who are now nearing the end of the Audit, I think they also had to come up with a new system to do the actual audit because this is a new technology. I can tell you that NAA will not proceed without the Audit Report and that is needed in order to please the big advertisers.

I think a lot of people who joined this, saw it as a New Affiliate program and as such they tend to evaluate it that way.. this is a not a launch of the next new affiliate program, sure it has an affiliate part attached to it but it is not all about that, it’s a new form of advertising and for us publishers it can and will form ANOTHER way for us to monetize our websites, it should not NOW or in the future be looked at as a sole earning opportunity.

Right that’s enough LOL I said I was going to go into too much detail.

I will try and get your forum problem solved and get that code looked at for you and then after that, well it’s up to you.

    Thanks
    Sue

    Peter,

Just to let you know, I just looked at your code on your website and it does not look right to me at all.

I will let you know when I have sorted out the forum issue so we can get the code right for you.

    Peter Simmons Says:

Oh dear, I just copied and pasted many moons ago and thought that was it. Sorry if I used this rather than emailing, I think I was in a hurry and confused as to how to contact you. Take onboard what you say, and that’s been my vision of it more or less, it just did seem to have gone on forever like this and I was starting to wonder.
I’ll try again logging into the forum, and seeing if I can find new code to use via my user page - that’s if I don’t get lost between voice2page and netaudioads again!
Thanks for all your help Sue, and all voluntary!

    susanneuk Says:

No problem Peter.. on your code, go to your NAA back office and you will see we now have a “Snippet code generator” which makes it much easier to get the code right” that was a suggestion from the members by the way.

If you use it DO NOT put yes next to the 3 min rule as that will mean no paying adlets will play on your site as it thinks you want to play ALL demo ads, that is useful for a page where you are advertising the concept of NAA.

No word yet on your forum login problems but that is because we have to wait for the US to wake up and get online LOL

    susanneuk Says:

    Hi Richard,

OK First of all, it won’t be music you will hear on your website, it will be 5 second audio adlets, a person speaking.

Second, I just took a look at the code on your website and there are several things wrong with it so rather than me try and help you here please can you go and register at the NAA forum and post in the “Technical Issues, Inserting the PPP Code” part of the forum, with a link to your website, then we can sort you out and have your code working for you in no time.

When you joined NAA you will have been given a link to the forum.

    Thanks
    Sue
