Some Stuff About Me
So here is a little bit about me… I am fast approaching my 48th Birthday in Feb 2008 (ouch!), a Mother of an 11 year old son, a 19 year old daughter and Grandmother to a 1 year old boy. I am engaged to be married to my wonderful partner Ian, whom I actually met online via an online business opportunity which just goes to show you really can gain all sorts of good things from the internet and in particular Internet Marketing (IM) :)
I have been in IM for a few years now, learning all the time and loving it. I also get a great deal of satisfaction from helping others to get around the IM world. I have a couple of main businesses and I also help out with some of them as a Moderator or Administrator for their forums, people say I have good people skills and I guess that must be so though it is hard to blow one’s own trumpet.
I have met many wonderful people in Internet Marketing but one of the things I would like to see is more people from Europe in the online business world and this is something I will be working on all of the time, so if your from Europe and need help getting started then do contact me so I can help, the more we team up the better things will get for us.. not that they are bad at all, in fact, for those of us over this side of the pond they are pretty much great and I adore my American friends and colleagues but, for instance, one of the things that will happen when there are more of us online is that we won’t have to stay up to “Stupid O’Clock in the morning” for any training, team talks or those “Be the first to hear about yada yada…” webinars which are a fantastic idea but hard to take in when your holding your eyes open with matchsticks and doped up on way too much coffee.. so it’s one of my missions, to get more Europeans involved.
Speaking of friends and the online world.. what first bought me online was Donny Osmond (I don’t want to hear the snickers, so please keep it down LOL). Through him I met some wonderful new friends from America who I felt like I had known all my life, I love and adore them (Ali, Donna, Darlene, yep I’m naming names) and have had the priviledge to meet up with them in America and here in the UK - words cannot express how I feel about these women and my thanks has to go to Donny once again for being the person that bought us together.

I love to dance, I used to competition dance until two years ago but life’s little traumas kind of got in the way of that, I am just now starting back into the dance world.. below is a picture of my first time on the competition dance floor (taken 2003) where I got a Bronze medal, I was so pleased because I was sooooo nervous, sorry the picture is not all that great, blame my daughter, she is not likely to know LOL.

For a great selection of new and used competition dancewear (some similar to the dancewear I am wearing in the above photo) please visit “DanceWear UK”
I am a Donny fan/friend, when I was a screaming, fainting “teeny bopper” in the 70’s I never thought I would meet him let alone be able to say (after meeting him so many times) that now he knows my name!!! He is such a lovely, funny, kind, genuine, talented, wonder family man, he often does a lot of things to help people that you never hear about, in fact, he did something for me once which I will always be grateful for but sorry, I am not going to talk about it.
This was taken in 2004:
I live in Wales in the UK, I moved here 6 years ago from England, I was born in Berkshire in the South of England.
I am here working online for lots of different reasons, I love the way the internet has widened my world.. I may live in a small village but my world is huge.
There is a lot more to me but you will have to get to know me to find out more won’t you ![]()

Great to be here at Friends Win with you — Don’t see you around Adland much! I always enjoyed the way you marketed there - keep in touch.

November 22nd, 2007 at 7:10 amHey Neil
So nice to see you here, thanks for visiting and I was well chuffed to see you at FriendsWin also..
Due to some family issues which are resolved now thank goodness, I did stop using Adland as much for a while there but I have been back much more recently but the problem is finding enough hours in the day (which is so for lots of us I know) and so have not found time to visit the forums.
Please stop back often and keep in touch.
Hugs to you Neil

December 6th, 2007 at 8:30 amHi Sue,
What a nice blog you keep here! I also want to compliment and thank you for the great job you are doing moderating the forum for PPP. I’m JAS over there, and I’m doing quite well with it; in part, at least, thanks to your positive and calming answers to peoples questions.
It is quite exciting to be involved in something new that has the potential Net Audio Ads has.
I wish you all the best in the future,
John Schneider

P.S. Do you have any hints on getting more traffic that are allowed for PPP?
February 8th, 2008 at 10:15 amWell Hello John/JAS - I have seen you at the PPP forum
and wow thanks so much for letting me know I am getting it right over there - always good to hear that.
I am very excited about PPP also and yep, pleased to be in on the beginning of it, even with all the hiccups, testing, etc. but as so many people have said, Rome was not built in a day and also, I believe Adsense had a few bumps along the way in the beginning.. I think as soon as more people realize it is NOT a get rich quick scheme and how important it is to get it as right as possible in the beginning then the better it will be - and hey, what have we lost if it does not work out, some time and effort, nobody has asked us to pay anything and never will.
Hints on traffic.. umm well off the top of my head, Social networks.. one of my favourites is AdLandPro - I have a huge list of friends over there, have met lots of helpful people, made good friends with a lot of them, great contacts along the way as well. I quickly decided to upgrade over there which is not expensive and in my opinion well worth it and I can message all of my contacts over there once a day and of course everyone who joins is opting in to receive messages from their contact lists (which they can opt out of if they want).
Many of my products, services, programs, etc have been used by people at AdLandPro and I also get a lot out of that community. There are many other social/biz networks.
Ok gonna shut up now, this is turning into a novel LOL
Thanks for your comments John

February 8th, 2008 at 10:31 amThe tall Yank with the glasses is stunning! Was she standing on a box?
May 16th, 2008 at 2:05 amSame Egg…
Hi Sue!! It’s so good to “see” you again! So…tell me about this internet business. Is there an opportunity for me here in the states? I’d love to work from home…Now that I’m a grandma, too (two here and three more on the way soon!) I’d love to be able to stay home and take care of them and make some money.
I hope the family is well. Send pics of the baby if you can. I can’t believe he’s a year already!! Time flies… I can’t make it to the July shows because the first of the three is expected on July 15…are you going to Vegas?
Hugs,
Cristina (formerly from Florida, now living in North Carolina)
May 16th, 2008 at 4:01 amMs. Honeypot, I do agree that the American lady is stunning and no she was not stood on a box, funnily enough, the area where that photo was taken had a dip either side of her, fairly large really.. strange that, why we couldn’t simply have moved to a different area is beyond me, oh well.
LOL
Same egg
Cristina, so lovely to hear from you and you moved!! congrats on the grandbabies and by the way, my grandson is now two weeks away from his 2nd birthday (I need to update that bit of information in my bio, ooops).
I won’t be going to vegas, perhaps one day if they keep doing the shows.
If you want to hear about working online then I will gladly help you, just let me know, we can talk via email.
Take care

Hi Sue,
Just a quick note to say hi, and I wanted to tell you that I also have the EXACT same feeling about the whole Euro / America thing. I have many American friends whom I hold in very high regard, but the whole timezone thing really does get frustrating sometimes, especially when you have a meeting to go to early morning and yet you don’t want to miss the webinar…
yep, I empathasie with you on that, perhaps it has something to do with the piscean in me..lol Anyways, I will be in touch, please feel free to go to the following website
http://www.whereeveryonewins.com to see how I am doing my bit for the whole balancing thing.
Absolutley no disrespect nor offence meant to my American colleagues, who for the most part are much more accommodating at the time zone thing than perhaps were are of them.
Please remember that not all Americans are like George W Bush, in fact more are like Donny Osmond.. so 2they” are not all that bad. lol.
Good Luck
